With our organic decals, you can apply your individual designs to all smooth, non-porous surfaces. The decals are adaptable enough for precision application even on products with complex shapes. You can be creative with cold decals, and use them to decorate candles, soaps and many other products with your designs and lettering. For more heavy-duty requirements such as applications on cups, bottles and plastic, on the other hand, you should use our low-temperature decals. Gently hardened for a short time, they will add a touch of sophistication to your product.
The key information at a glance: types of decal and possible applications
Cold decals are used for decorative purposes, but do not require hardening at high temperatures after application. To improve the durability of these decals, they can be coated after drying with a water-soluble varnish or hardened gently at low temperatures of up to a maximum of 120°C. Cold decals are particularly popular for decorating candles. After application you can also coat the decal with an additional layer of wax to improve its durability.
Low temperature decals are covered with a so-called peel-off cover coat that you can simply peel off after transferring the decal. This leaves only the pigment on the product, guaranteeing a particularly attractive appearance. These decals owe their name to the fact that, once applied, they need to be hardened at just 180°C. This significantly improves their scratch-resistance and helps make the low temperature decals dishwasher-safe.
All of our organic decals can be used to decorate the following products, among others:
• coated bottles and cups
• candles and soaps
• bicycle frames
• construction model parts and varnished wood
• plastic/stone/costume jewellery
How to apply organic decals to your products
Our organic decals are applied to your products using a wet-transfer technique. In order to apply the decal, you need to soak it in water for a short time, before sliding the wet transfer off the backing paper and directly on to your application surface. Then hold your decal firmly in place, and use a rubber squeegee to press any water out from under it. After a drying period of around four hours, your product is ready to use.
